The UrbEurope meeting will be structured into 3 sessions:
1. Theory 2. Research proposals 3. Empirical findings
RTN young researchers and researchers not yet involved in the project but who are interested in it can send their detailed draft to the Organizational Committee of this meeting:
François Bonnet: francois.bonnet@sciences-po.org; Barbara Da Roit: Barbara.daroit@unimib.it; Charlotte Halpern: charlotte.halpern@sciences-po.org
An advanced draft (5-6 pages) of the paper (in English) should be sent as soon as possible and not after THE 15 MAY OF 2005.
Accompanying the draft should be an indication of whether the paper is theoretical, presents a research project, or is focused more on empirical findings. The draft should explain precisely what is the point of the paper and what it brings to social research.
The board will send the paper to 2 referees (chosen among RTN fellows). Referees may advise the author to make improvements on the content of papers. They may refuse papers whose topic is not central to RTN UrbEurope interests.
The Meeting will take place at the CEVIPOF- Sciences-Po, Paris:
Salle Annick Percheron, 98 rue de l'Université, PARIS (Métro: 12 Solférino)
Young researchers who send their paper to the Organizational Committee and whose papers are accepted will have their travel expenses refunded by the University where they are/were hosted during their RTN UrbEurope period. This does not apply to Urbino.
Young researchers who are accepted must inform the Host University on time and make the necessary arrangements for the refunding of expenses. Note that each university may have different procedures and timing.
Please remember that the administration in each university requires the boarding cards if you travel by aircraft.
Accommodation will be paid by Sciences-Po. |
